​" I first heard about Expressive Pilates from my hair stylist and purchased a small package to try it out From the minute I walked in the door, any fears I might have had were immediately gone when Abbey welcomed me into her studio. I have had some significant health issues over the past few years resulting in weakness in my legs and balance issues, and difficulty walking. Over all I am not conditioned for many activities. Abbey has worked with me 1:1 and has adjusted my program to really meet my needs. Her reassurance and support has been important to my success. After used up my small package of 10 sessions, I purchased a 20 pack program because I know this is one exercise program I can do!! The Pilates reformer is amazing "self controlled" ” piece of equipment and with Abbeys' guidance I continue to increase my endurance, stability, and strength. If you're thinking this is for younger more active people-get over it. I am 66 years old and have been dealing with neuropathy in my feet. I look forward to my visits because I know I am doing something that continues to help me; if I'm not having a good day, Abby is there to support me and get me moving !!! She is the best!!!!

Abbey is so amazing and knowledgeable We do everything from gentle stretching sessions, to intense workouts. I've come to her with a lot of muscle complaints and with her physical therapy background she's given me amazing stretches that I can do at home. Abbey is a fantastic trainer - and she is fun. Even though you might be in classes with more advanced individuals, she never rushes you and she helps everyone along during each session. No two classes are ever the same, she is always changing them up. Some sessions seem more difficult than others and you sweat, but as you progress you get more comfortable with each move. I love the way I feel after each session and I feel the benefits of length, strengthen, flexibility, and balance. I was concerned about doing this with others because of my age - no worries -I have been in class with so many different people, male and female, as well as people with different fitness levels. I like the fact that you can do this on your own schedule by signing up online. Abbey is very personable and really loves what she is doing."

"Abbey is a wonderful, inspiring and knowledgeable Pilates instructor. She is extremely kind and patient. Her workouts are great and the atmosphere is fun. You can feel every area of your body working. She is always challenging me to try Something new. My strength and flexibility have never been better. I have extremely tight hip flexors from sitting at my desk all day long. After taking Pilates twice a week for two months my hip flexors have significantly loosened up. Pilates has also been very helpful in managing my stress levels. I look forward to every session because I know Abbey will push me to my limits in her safe and effective environment. It is truly a total mind-body experience."
